Guide 1: Generate Your Store
Turn your Instagram or WhatsApp store into a live online store. 60 seconds. Zero typing.
The big idea
You don't have to upload a single product. We pull your photos, captions, prices, and brand details directly from your public Instagram, then arrange them into a clean store template at aurelua.com/yourbrand.
Most sellers see their store for the first time and react with: "That's actually mine." That's by design. Your products. Your photos. Your brand. Just better organised, with a real checkout attached.
Before you generate
A 30-second check before you start saves a re-do later.
✅ Is your Instagram public? Private accounts can't be read. Switch to public temporarily if you need to.
✅ Do you have 4+ posts that are actual products? Story highlights and reels won't be picked up — we look at grid posts.
✅ Are prices visible somewhere? Either in the caption ("R450"), in the post image, or in your bio. If prices live in your DMs, generation will guess and you'll need to correct prices later.
✅ Is your brand name recognisable? We use your IG display name as the store name. You can change it after generating.
If any of these aren't true, that's fine — the store still gets built, it just takes a bit more cleanup after.
Step-by-step
1. Go to aurelua.com
Open your phone browser. Type aurelua.com in the address bar.
You'll land on a page with a single input field: "Enter your Instagram handle to start".
2. Type your handle
Just the username — no @, no instagram.com/. For example: royalblooms.co
Tap Generate Store.
3. Wait 30-60 seconds
You'll see a progress indicator while we:
- Pull your last 12-20 IG posts
- Identify which ones are products
- Extract names, prices, descriptions
- Pick a brand-fit template (we have 5: clean, bold, soft, editorial, luxe)
- Assemble your store
For very large accounts (500+ posts) or slow internet, this can take up to 2 minutes. Don't refresh.
4. See your store
Once it's done, you're redirected to your live URL: aurelua.com/yourbrand
This is a real, working storefront. Anyone with the link can see it, browse products, and add to cart. It's not yet "yours" — you haven't claimed it — but it's already public.
5. Walk through it like a buyer would
Tap a product. Look at the photo, the price, the description. Tap Add to Cart. Open the cart. Tap Checkout via WhatsApp. WhatsApp will pre-fill a message addressed to a placeholder number — that's normal until you claim and add your real WhatsApp.
This is exactly what your buyers will experience.
What gets pulled in
| From your IG | Becomes in your store |
|---|---|
| Display name + bio | Brand name + about copy |
| Profile photo | Logo |
| Grid posts identified as products | Product cards |
| First sentence of caption | Product name |
| First price in caption (e.g. "R450") | Listed price |
| Rest of caption | Product description |
| Highlight covers | Optional store banners |
What to check first
Before you claim it, look at your store with fresh eyes:
- 🔍 Product names readable? "Royal Roses Bouquet" not "Beautiful 🌹❤️"
- 🔍 Prices right? We're conservative — if no price was visible, it'll show "POA" (Price On Application). You can edit after claiming.
- 🔍 Brand name correct? Sometimes IG handles are weirder than display names. You can change in settings.
- 🔍 Images sharp? Your IG photos appear at higher resolution on the store page. Most are fine.
If something's wrong, don't worry — every field is editable after you claim.
What if it doesn't work?
"We couldn't read your Instagram profile" → Your account is private, or has fewer than 4 grid posts, or Instagram is rate-limiting us. Wait a minute, retry. If it persists, switch to public temporarily.
Some products are missing → We only pick up grid posts that look like products. Reels, story highlights, and "lifestyle" posts get filtered out. You can add missing ones manually after claiming.
Prices are wrong → Edit them after claiming. Takes 5 seconds per product.
The brand name is your IG handle, not your real name → Edit in settings after claiming. Takes 5 seconds.
Multiple products got merged into one → We sometimes get confused when one IG post has a carousel with different products. After claiming, split them or replace with new entries.
Why generate before claiming?
Most platforms make you sign up first, then let you build. We do it the other way: see the product before committing. If you don't like what you see, walk away. No account created, no email captured.
Pro tips
- Don't share the link yet. Until you claim it, the store doesn't have your real WhatsApp number, real bank account, or real payment setup. Buyers can browse but can't check out properly.
- Generation is reversible. If you regenerate (e.g. after adding new IG posts), the old version gets refreshed. Nothing is lost.
- The link will exist forever — until claimed by someone (you, hopefully). Preview stores expire after 30 days if no one claims them.
