How tiers change as you grow

We watch your monthly GMV in your dashboard. When you cross your tier's cap, you auto-upgrade to the next tier from the start of the next billing cycle — no action needed.

No mid-month surprise charges. You finish out the current month on your current plan.
30-day email notice. We tell you before any tier change with the new fee and what it means for the next 12 months.
Storefront never pauses. Crossing a cap doesn't lock your store — you keep selling throughout the transition.
Step down if you slow down. If your GMV drops back below a cap for 60 consecutive days, you auto-step-down to the lower tier.

The fine print

Payment-provider fees

Card and instant-EFT payments are processed by Paystack and Ozow. Their gateway fees apply per transaction in addition to Aurelua's platform fee, are deducted at settlement, and are visible per order in your dashboard:

Ozow Instant EFT — ~1.5% of the transaction amount
Ozow / Paystack Cards — 2.85% to 2.9% of the transaction amount

Refunds

When an order is refunded under our Refund Policy, Aurelua's platform fee is reversed in full so you don't pay platform fees on returned goods. Payment-provider gateway fees may not be reversible for fully captured transactions; consult the provider's terms.

VAT & tax

Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Sellers are responsible for any tax due on income earned through the platform. For VAT-registered Sellers, prices may be displayed inclusive of VAT and a tax invoice can be generated per order.

For buyers

Aurelua is free to use for buyers — no membership fee, no subscription, no charge for browsing or ordering. The total at checkout always shows the line items, delivery fee, and any platform fee separately. No hidden costs.
