What we do

  • WhatsApp checkout — the channel your buyers already use to message you, now with order-tracking, automatic confirmations, and optional pay-by-link.
  • Secure payments — card and instant EFT through Paystack and Ozow. We never store your card details.
  • Honest pricing — free to start, platform fees from 0.9% to 2.5% only when you make a sale, no monthly subscription.

Why we built it

Most existing e-commerce tools were built for big international brands and feel that way: monthly subscriptions, surprise card-fee markups, themes that don't reflect your taste, payouts that take a week. We talked to South African sellers and the pattern was the same — they were already running fully-functional businesses through Instagram and WhatsApp, just without the structure.

Aurelua is registered in South Africa as Aurelua (2026/344331/07). Our team is based locally and our platform is built for the realities of selling in South Africa — ZAR pricing, local payment rails, CPA-aligned dispute handling, POPIA-compliant data handling.
